I'm Lee, a British artist living in Poland, working under the name TESOLEE.
I started winning art competitions as a kid and originally wanted to be a graphic designer. Instead, a weekend job washing pots in a hotel turned into a 35-year career as a chef, running the kitchens in Michelin-starred hotels and restaurants around the world.
When COVID brought my culinary career to an unexpected end in 2020, I returned to art.
My artworks range from abstract portraits to contemporary abstract compositions, often experimenting with colour, shape and the human face.
My work has appeared in online galleries, art publications and on the screens of Times Square, New York.
After decades of creating things that people ate in twenty minutes, I'm now creating things they can hang on their walls for twenty years.
